The Hidden Connection: Toxic Relationships, Financial Struggles, and Barakah

For a long time, I have been observing something. I’ve noticed it with many clients and with people who message me on a daily basis. At least 90% of women in toxic relationships are also struggling financially—this is based on the people I have encountered.

Not to mention that they are severely struggling with many health conditions too.

And it’s not just in their personal lives. Even in their own businesses and careers, many of them will say, “We need barakah.” But they don’t realise that the very relationship they are in might be blocking the barakah from reaching them.

The impact of toxic relationships goes far beyond emotional pain—it manifests in every aspect of life. It can disrupt your mental and physical health, your finances, and even hinder the flow of blessings that come with sincere effort and connection with Allah. We need to understand that sometimes, the relationship you’re holding onto might be the very thing preventing you from stepping into the blessings that are waiting for you. When your environment is toxic, especially in the form of a narcissistic relationship, it can block the barakah that you need to thrive.

It’s essential to assess how your environment is affecting your well-being. Letting go of toxic relationships, no matter how hard it may seem, might just be the key to unlocking those blessings—whether in health, wealth, or peace of mind.
